Being confused between Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez, the director turned producer finally gave a nod for Jacqueline because he wanted a fresh pair in this special film.

‘Kick’ is an action packed movie, for which the leading lady has done a lot of hard work to get it right. Matching up to Salman Khan surely has to be a tough job and she has managed to do it in ‘Kick’. The super glamorous girl otherwise, has gone completely de-glam in Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ only to suit the role. Sajid Nadiadwala is managing multiple shoots across India!

Several films are being shot across various locations in India, which are being produced under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. This has made the film producer Sajid Nadiadwala very busy with multiple shoot schedules. Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Highway’, which he is presenting, was being filmed in the northern states of India. ‘2 States’, which is being co-produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala, was being shot in IIM Gujarat. Also, ‘Heropanti’, through which Sajid is launching the newcomer Tiger Shroff, is being filmed in Patiala. ‘Kick’, the talented producer’s directorial debut has now been relocated to Karjat, near Mumbai. His untitled political thriller with Saif Ali Khan and Kabir Khan is said to go on floor this October in Lebanon.

With movies being shot extensively in the northern and western regions of India as well as outside it, Sajid seems to be keeping really occupied. It was not really possible to volunteer all these shoots personally and therefore, he is handling everything from Mumbai itself. Sajid Nadiadwala to shed an extra Rs. 20 Lac for the safety of his crew!

One of the upcoming movies of famous Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala is a political thriller, which shows the counter-terror story of the post 26-11 terrorist attack situation. The film is yet to be titled and is being directed by Kabir Khan with Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead. Both Kabir and Saif have done much research on the characters and the story, to able to showcase the movie right. The shoot of the film is said to start on 18^th October with the first schedule of approximately 15-18 days to be shot in the conflict ridden Syria-Lebanon border. Yes, conflict ridden because the US president Barack Obama has sent out a warning to the besieged Bashar al-Assad regime of Syria recently.

This has raised eyebrows of many in Bollywood, who are a part of the shoot of Sajid and Kabir’s upcoming film including the two. With these problems taking over Syria, the safety of the cast as well as the crew shooting at the location is going to be hampered. “If US planes fly towards Syria, they will have to go over Lebanon. This puts Katrina, Saif and others in a potential war zone”, said a source in order to describe the hazardous conditions in Syria and Lebanon. This has put the producer Sajid Nadiadwala as well as director Kabir Khan in a tricky phase. However, they have decided to continue with the planned schedule of the shoot, despite of such risky situations. With already a budget of Rs. 150 crores, Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ starring Salman Khan, looks a little over the normal budget. This means the film will have a lavish and exclusive backdrop that will be incomparable to his other movies. Obviously, what do we expect from a movie being shot in Glasgow located in London? London is a rich city of the United Kingdom with a magnificent locale and breathtaking destinations. With such a luxurious routine scheduled in London for the shoot of ‘Kick’, 150 crore is no big deal for this ace producer. After all, a huge amount needs to be shed for achieving something so regal in return.

Except for a major piece from the film to be shot in Glasgow, which needs Salman Khan extensively, the shoot has been completed. However, according to a source, the latest news is that Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ will be shot in India as well. This was a recent addition as this talented producer, who is also directing the movie wishes to show some extraordinary destinations of the north in his envisioned directorial debut. Again, as Salman Khan does not wish to move to Delhi for the shoot, the famous places of the north will be recreated in Karjat near Mumbai. The set will be a replica of the popular north Indian destinations like Connaught place, Paharganj, and Karol Baug areas. Real autos, buses, and other local bodies will be brought to the set for the main shoot.

Recreating Delhi in Karjat is going to cost Sajid Nadiadwala an enormous amount of Rs. 15 crore.  Whether, this is an additional Rs. 15 crore to the already existing budget of Rs. 150 crore or will be easily managed within the same budget is still not clear. However, if it is an extra cost, then ‘Kick’ is surely turning too pricey for Sajid. Nevertheless, most probably this is not going to affect the skilled producer, who has turned director with this film because he knows how to increase the business of his movies rather than cutting down on the expenses!

Sajid Nadiadwala to produce the sizzling Ranbir-Deepika couple!

After working with Ranbir Kapoor in Anjaana Anjaani, producer and now turned director Sajid Nadiadwala was keen on working with this young and energetic Kapoor once again.
