Indians are known for their unity in diversity. Though, they are all from different religions, classes, languages, and cultures, they come together as one when needed. This is not restricted to only a few in our country, but all, even the film industry and celebrities. Each of them loves the nation and has always been respectful towards it. One name that stands on the top in this list is of the famous Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala. He is a man of his words and he never backs off. We have always heard that he is a passionate film maker and movies for him are his life. In fact, his entire family is completely filmy. They love watching entertaining movies together and thereby spend quality time with each other.

Being such a movie person, with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, one might think that Sajid Nadiadwala keeps nothing above his films. However, this is not true. He says that the country is much bigger than films for him. He cannot go against the law of the nation for his movies. If something is wrong and unethical, then it has to be scrapped. Earlier, when his film Anjaana Anjaani with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra was about to release, the producer had also done changes to the release date only for the sake of India and its respect. He had shifted the release date of this Ranbir and Priyanka starrer from 2nd October, which was Gandhi Jayanti to 1st October. Keeping in mind the importance of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday to the nation, the producer showed his maturity and understanding and changed the release date.

This clearly explains how great is Sajid Nadiadwala and the way he was brought up. He is talented, matured, and experienced!

Many people like to work on certain rules and principles, be it the common man or a film celebrity. Similarly, the popular film maker of Indian cinema Sajid Nadiadwala is known for making a single movie at a time in two years. However, he has overcome that rule this year and will be releasing five films back to back in the next year. Also, his close friend Salman Khan, the superstar Bollywood actor is famous for taking approximately two weeks off between shooting for two films. This time, even he has given up on this habit. Discontinuing the principle of taking holidays between two shoots, Salman is currently shooting for brother Sohail Khan’s Jai Ho and will directly go on to shoot Sajid’s directorial debut Kick, once Jai Ho wraps up.

A source close to the actor says, “Salman is about to complete shooting for Jai Ho and directly get into the shoot schedule for the next project, Kick. It will be the big Eid release for next year, so Salman wants to give as much time as possible for its shooting.” The versatile actor has already booked dates in November and December to shoot for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick. He has almost completed filming all the scenes for Jai Ho by working overtime with his team. The source adds, “For Jai Ho, he will complete all the scenes except one song. The team has been working overtime. Salman has been staying at his Panvel home as the set for the film has been set up close by. Once he is done, he will return to Mumbai and start work on Kick.”

It was confirmed by a spokesperson for Kick and he said, “Salman is currently wrapping up the shoot for Jai Ho and will start shooting for Kick immediately after its completion. He is not even taking a small break, which he usually does between shooting two films”. This makes it clear that Salman has given up his two week holidays for best friend Sajid Nadiadwala!

Everyday a new friend is made in the tinsel town after the old ones turn into enemies. Some enemies might turn into friends again, but the relationship between the stars of Bollywwod – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, can never be imagined to change. The two, until now were foes, who would never talk good about each other and constantly get into fights. However, surprisingly things are seem to be changing between the two after their most talked about hug at the iftaar party thrown by Baba Siddiqui this Eid. Amidst all this, film producer Sajid Nadiadwala is playing the peacemaker between the two Khans, though indirectly. Actually, Sajid has roped in Red Chillies VFX, a company owned by King Khan to work on the visual effects of his directorial debut Kick.

Kick will feature actors Salman Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. Salman and Shah Rukh will not be sharing the screen space, yet they will be working together. An insider confirmed saying, “Salman is expected to work closely with the VFX team of Sajid Nadiadwala‘s Kick as the film will be high on action and subtle visual effects.” This means that the actor will somehow be involved in the process and has to come in contact with enemy turned friend Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh has also said earlier that he does not mind working with Salman and Salman had reciprocated to the same saying that he has no enmity with SRK. Well, this seems to be good news for the industry as well.

This slowly mending relationship between the two stars of Bollywood along with proving beneficial for Sajid Nadiadwala is also going to be a great deal for the actors. This step by the producer was really an effective one and due to this we might see the epic Karan-Arjun coming back together in the near future!

Work comes first for the dedicated ones. They worship work and rest everything comes after it. However, here the situation seems to be a little different in the case of famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan. He is currently shooting for his brother Sohail Khan’s Jai Ho, which he wants to wrap up fast so that he can start work on Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut Kick. Due to this, he is not even taking the fifteen days break that he usually takes between shooting for two movies. The reason behind this is that Salman understands that Kick is a huge project that involves a lot of input from best friend Sajid. The producer also turned director with this film because of Salman. The film has already been delayed a lot for his personal issues and he does not want to keep Sajid waiting anymore.

In order to complete shooting for Jai Ho in time, Salman is working overtime with his team and also is unable to give time to his family. He recently skipped sister Alvira Khan’s store launch. His sister along with Ashley Rebello launched their designer store ‘Ahakzai’ in Bandra off late. Various celebrities and renowned faces turned up at the event except for Salman Khan himself, who was busy shooting for Jai Ho as well as TV reality show Bigg Boss 7. A source said, “Salman Khan may have skipped Alvira Khan’s store launch, but her other siblings were there to encourage her along with other Bollywood celebrities. It was celebrity galore at ‘Ahakzai’ store launch, with the likes of Urmila Matondkar, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar, Mini Mathur, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sophie Choudry, Reena Dutt, Roshni Chopra and several others attending the event.”

However, the biggest star of the Khan family, Salman was not able to make it to the event due to his busy schedule and shoot. He seems to have clearly chosen his work and Sajid Nadiadwala over his sister!

Sajid Nadiadwala, the famous film producer of Bollywood is in news these days. Just not once or twice, the film maker is being talked about thousand times. His half a dozen films that will release back to back in the next year have made him even more popular. Every newspaper, online blog, and magazine is talking about him and his movies. This is no less an achievement. Actually, it is really very daring on the part of Sajid to come up with six movies in a row. It takes a lot of courage to handle and manage as well as finance them all together. This makes the man a living legend of the Indian cinema. Also, he is an individual film producer, which makes it more difficult for him. However, thanks to his efficient crew that he was able to make it.

The audiences are surely waiting for his movies to start releasing in 2014. The first one to hit the theatres is Highway, which the producer is presenting worldwide. Written, directed, and produced by Imtiaz Ali, the film is a complete package that will entertain you to the fullest. Post Highway releases in February next year, Sajid Nadiadwala will come up with 2 States in April. This one he is co-producing with Karan Johar and is an adaptation of a book by Chetan Bhagat. A love story by genre, it falls under the film maker’s comfort zone. The next is Heropanti, with which star kid Tiger Shroff marks his debut. It hits the cinemas in May and promises to be a different story and concept, never heard before. Finally, in July releases the most awaited and loved movie of Sajid Nadiadwala, Kick. His best friend Salman Khan is playing the lead in this action flick.

These four releases leave behind a couple more with the political thriller Daniyal Khan being the next. It is being directed by Kabir Khan and is a genre that Sajid is trying for the first time. Thus, Sajid Nadiadwala… enough said!

The film industry is all about profits and losses. One’s gain might be someone else’s loss and vice versa. This is a common sight in Bollywood and from here starts the rivalry between popular stars as well as supporting actors. However, after a certain point of time it does not really matter. A producer or director is not so insensitive that he replaces someone with another person just for fun. It is always due to serious reasons that demand such a decision. Similarly, Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut Kick is Vindoo Dara Singh’s loss and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s gain. The action thriller also features Salman Khan, Randeep Hooda, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead.

Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. the story for Kick has also been written by Sajid. However, the details about Nawazuddin’s role have not been given out yet. So, one cannot surely say that Vindoo has been replaced by Nawaz. They could be two different roles as well. Coming to Vindoo Dara Singh’s case, he has been kicked out of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick due to his old habit of betting over cricket. Recently, he was caught up in a controversy, which took place after he was signed for the movie. The producer does not want to take a chance with his first film as a director, which he is treating very extraordinarily. It is special for him and actor Salman Khan’s presence in it makes it closer to the producer’s heart.

Vindoo’s legal troubles might hamper the well being of Kick as well as people related to it. This has made Sajid Nadiadwala request Vindoo to work with him some other time. This time Sajid cannot take the risk with the debut venture. This is the reason that he has chosen Nawazuddin to play an important role in his film, which will cover up all the gaps, if any!

It is definitely not good news for famous Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala as well as the entire film fraternity. News is that the Western India Motion Picture and Television Sound Engineers Association have issued a non-cooperation directive to the Indian cinema saying that the workers will go on a strike from 8th December this year. None of them will work until the problems have been resolved. Other bodies like the Association of Cine and Television Art Directors, Cine Costume and Make Up Association, Cine and TV Artists Association, Film Studio Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union, Mahila Kalakar Sangh Film Association and Cine Dancer’s Association are also supporting them for the same.

In such a situation, where multiple films are in their production stage are said to be affected with the ban. If all the workers stop working, then the industry will come to a standstill leading to losses to producers. One of these movies, which will be hampered is the Sajid Nadiadwala written, directed, and produced Kick.  The movie will soon start shooting for its second schedule in Karjat, which will go up to 12th of December. This will make it difficult for the producer to wind up the shoot smoothly. Sajid had also requested the association for postponing the strike to 12th December, which was allegedly rejected. Being the president of Indian Film and Television Producers Council, Sajid has now been asked to find a solution to the matter.

The letter from the Association listed the issues of the workers, which read that the workers are not being granted leaves; the conveyance paid to them despite of odd working hours is not satisfactory, late payments, and sudden terminations are the reasons for the strike. President of sound engineers association B.N. Tiwari said, “We have no intention to bring the industry to a standstill but these are serious issues that need to be addressed at the earliest. We had to take this step to get ourselves heard.” This leaves Sajid Nadiadwala to be the one finding the correct solution!
