Phantom sets Sajid Nadiadwala’s expectations rising high!

Post attempting a large variety of commercial films, popular film maker Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to deliver a political action thriller next year. 2014 will see a new side of the producer, where he will come up with an anti-terrorism movie, a genre that he is trying for the first time. Temporarily named as Phantom, the film is being directed by Kabir Khan, which is a well known name in the film industry for delivering such genres successfully. Famous actors of tinsel town Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif will be featured in the movie as the male as well as female leads respectively. Being shot in the volatile regions of Beirut, Lebanon Phantom can be expected to be high on action and thrill. Sajid Nadiadwala

Film maker Sajid Nadiadwala has high hopes from his political action thriller Phantom. The reasons for this are many. Firstly, the producer is pleased to be working with the unique combination of talents in his film. With Kabir Khan as the director, and Saif Ali Khan as well as Katrina Kaif as the actors, Sajid has a very big reason to stay relaxed as far as the making of the movie is concerned. Secondly, Kabir has previously directed Katrina in Ek Tha Tiger and Saif in Kurban. This makes it easier to deal with the actors for the director. He is by now very comfortable with the two leads, which is an additional benefit. Thirdly, Kabir is familiar with this genre very well and his efficiency cannot be doubted.

A source close to the project says, “Phantom is an action-thriller like many other films directed by Kabir Khan before. After Ek Tha Tiger, the director continues to shoot at locations which are difficult and real. For Phantom, he is shooting some parts in Beirut.” To this Sajid Nadiadwala adds, “This time, we have put our belief in Kabir Khan and we are pleased to work with Saif, Katrina and Kabir for the first time!”
