Jacqueline Fernandez who is the lead female actor in the movie Kick has to make a choice between shooting the movie and a tour. The actor had agreed to be a part of Bollywood’s biggest world tour series ‘Temptation Reloaded’ last year. The actor was a part of the concert when it was performed in Australia and New Zealand in October 2013. The concert also features great actors like Madhuri Dixit Nene and Rani Mukerji and superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The next performance is scheduled on the 15th of February 2014 in Malaysia. This has put Jacqueline in a dilemma as she has to shoot some very important scenes with Sajid Nadiadwala in mid February.

Kick Full movie

The movie Kick also stars the actor Salman Khan in the lead and is Sajid’s first attempt at direction. The movie is being produced under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd. It is the remake of a Telugu film with the same name released in the year 2009 starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz. Sajid Nadiawala is currently shooting for the movie with Salman and Jacqueline in Panvel, near Mumbai. The director needs his leading lady to shoot some very important scenes in mid February.

Jacqueline is now confused as to which option should she choose as both are equally important to her. She was a part of the tour last year and enjoyed sharing the stage with Madhuri, Shahrukh, Rani and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh. She was looking forward to the next performance ever since the tour ended in Australia last year. She had even given her commitment to the Morani brothers, who are the organizers of Temptations Reloaded, last year. The Morani brothers have requested Sajid Nadiadwala to let the actor perform in the tour in Malaysia, but Sajid is finding it very difficult to agree to their demands. He cannot let Jacqueline go as he needs to finish the shooting of Kick as early as possible, as it has already been delayed due to Salman Khan’s prior commitments to the show Bigg Boss and the promotions of his last release Jai Ho.

For someone, who breathes films, eats films, sleeps films, and lives films, film making might be a passion and not just a profession. Same is with the famous film producer of Bollywood Sajid Nadiadwala, who loves his work. This man has been watching movies since the time he was a kid. He would watch a film every day; in fact his grandfather Abdul Karim Nadiadwala owned several theatres in Mumbai. Having film making in his blood, Sajid being a lawyer by education entered the industry to become a talented film maker, which he is now. He has made numsajid_nadiadwala9erous hit films as a producer that include Waqt Hamara Hai, Jeet, Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Heyy Babyy, Houseful, Housefull 2, and many other. He is currently making six movies, out of which five are slated to release back-to-back this year. The six projects are namely Highway, 2 States, Heropanti, Kick, Phantom, and Window Seat.

This year Sajid Nadiadwala is turning director with his upcoming venture Kick that stars Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez as the lead pair. Kick is a remake of the Telugu movie with the same name that revolves around two main characters, a conman and a cop. Sajid is so keen of films that he likes to watch all the entertaining movies with his family. Since his teenage years, he has been a huge movie buff, who could not live without watching films every day. His efficiency in movie making and the passion for the same has made the producer cum director reach new heights in life. Talking about his dreams and goals in life Sajid said, “I have realised all my dreams through my films. Now the only goal is to continue making films on a bigger and better scale. I have grown up watching films that are hardcore entertainers, and I want to make films that do nothing but entertain!”

Sajid Nadiadwala has been running from one location to another. His movies have kept him busy for many months now. First his crew was shooting for the movie Phantom in Beirut, Lebanon. The next phase of this film was then shot in Kashmir. During the same time, another film that is being released under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd, was also being shot in the valley. Heropanti, that marks the debut of Tiger Shroff and Kirti Sanon in Bollywood, was being shot in different parts of Kashmir from Srinagar to Pahalgam and Phantom was being shot in Gulmarg and Pahalgam. images

The producer is also busy with the shooting of his movie 2 states that has been shot in different locations across India. The movie is based on the love story of a couple who belongs to extreme corners of the country. The male lead of the movie, played by Arjun Kapoor, is a Punjabi boy from Delhi and the female lead, played by Alia Bhatt, is a Tamilian girl from Chennai. This Sajid Nadiadwala movie has been shot in Delhi, Chennai and Pondicherry. Apart from these films, Sajid is also shooting his debut directorial venture Kick. This movie stars Salman Khan and is currently being shot at Karjat.

Though Karjat is very close to Mumbai, where most of the crew is from, Sajid Nadiadwala and his entire cast and crew are going to stay at the location till the shooting completes. This is being done to avoid wasting time in travel and on request of the lead actor Salman Khan. The entire crew spends so much time apart from their families, but they do not miss home. Sajid said that he considers his entire unit like his extended family. He said that they actually spend more time shooting with each other, than they spend at home with their families. They all have been working together for many years and look after each other when on outdoor shoots.

The banner is releasing five films this year and the entire crew has worked very hard to achieve this goal. Right from pre-production to shooting to post-production, each aspect is being managed splendidly.

Rumours seem to have hit the tinsel town again. Coincidentally, it is again about an actor replacing another actor in a film. However, here the one being supposedly replaced is known, but who is replacing him is still a secret. Adding to the coincidence, it is once again for the film Kick, which is being produced by the famous film maker Sajid Nadiadwala. He is also directing this movie and it is a remake of the Telugu film with the same name. Actors Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, Archana Puran Singh, and Mithun Chakraborty are playing the lead roles in Kick. While Randeep was said to be replaced by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui earlier, now it is Nawaz, who seems to be the scapegoat. A source close to the production team was heard saying, “There have been quite a few discussions and it seems that the makers are not content with the casting. Nawaz might be replaced.” Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was supposed to play villain in Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut Kick. Nevertheless, the actor has played various roles so far in films like Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Bombay Talkies (2013), and The Lunchbox (2013). He has won accolades for all his previous work in Bollywood due to his flawless acting skills. Nawaz was so excited about his role in Kick that he had once said, “The character that I have been offered is really good, it has logic to whatever he does. As an actor, I must explore myself in every genre.” However, currently as per the rumours, Nawazuddin Siddiqui might be replaced because the makers find the casting not up to the mark. Well, all we can do is just wait and watch. The director producer Sajid still denies the rumour saying, “This is not true, and we are starting (shooting) soon.”

Sajid Nadiadwala’s Hindi remake Kick is slated to release on 25th July this year!

North India is the most preferred place to visit during the winter season. Why? The reason is the snow-clad hilly regions of the north are a treat for both family vacations as well as honeymooners. Amongst all the northern holiday destinations, Kashmir seems to be a favourite for many. It is not only a favourite for the tourists, but also for the film industry. They love shooting at the snow covered places in Kashmir, especially Gulmarg. Of late, many films have been shot in Gulmarg, Kashmir and several others continue to be shot. Film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is coming up with his action thriller movie Phantom, with which he is stepping out of his comfort zone for the first time, is also shooting in Kashmir currently. While Sajid is producing the film, Phantom is being directed by Kabir Khan, who is well known for his selection of exciting shoot locations. According to him Kashmir is the best location to shoot for Phantom. Kabir Khan

Praising the location Kabir said, “There is no outdoor location in the world more beautiful and enchanting than Kashmir and nothing can beat the magic of Gulmarg in winter. For many years Bollywood could not come to Kashmir because of the situation, but now every filmmaker is trying to make up for the lost time. We have been shooting here for the last few days and we intend to complete soon.” Actors Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif are playing lead roles in this film. Sajid Nadiadwala’s Phantom hits the theatres on 2nd October this year. Adding to the conversation he said, “I am sure it (Phantom) would be received very well.” Talking about the peace he experiences while shooting in Kashmir, Kabir said, “I have always liked working in Kashmir. Yes, Kashmir has a spiritual value addition for anyone who comes to do creative work here. There is no doubt about this and one has to come and work here to notice this.”

It is said that the more you fight with your close ones, more love seems to develop between you two. Well, completely true or not, but a fight is a temporary phase, when it is between you and a family member or friend. People tend to gradually forget and forgive and that is how relationships are supposed to be. These points are not only applicable for common man, but also for the top celebrities, big personalities, and high class people. One such big personality, who thinks that fights are temporary, but friendships are permanent, is the ace Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The man is said to have many friends in the industry and also to know how to maintain those relationships for life. However, people on the media front had a question to ask him that if fights should be temporary, then why did he had a fallout with Sajid Khan, who had said that he sees Sajid as one of the four friends, who would carry him to his grave.Sajid Nadiadwala

Explaining the situation maturely Sajid Nadiadwala had answered, “Sometimes when you work, you can have problems. But it is just a matter of time. I feel so nice that I gave a friend a break as a director. If we have had seven bad months in a 17- year relationship, it is not bad. Sometimes you need space, you get irritated, but again you are back. We used to meet seven times a day, and then we didn’t meet for seven months, now we will meet once in seven days, then twice, then we might laugh at ourselves in two years, thinking, why we fought at all. Our fight is all temporary, only friendship is permanent.” Proving his words right Mr. Nadiadwala is now back on good terms with Mr. Khan. Therefore, we have to believe that Sajid is a true friend and knows how to retain friendships.

A film producer should know where to spend and where not to. However, big budget films are not made like that by keeping a tab on the expenses. And, with the famous film producer of Bollywood Sajid Nadiadwala, the case is the same. He has never kept a check on the expenditure, when he makes a film. It is just that the talented film maker continues to produce movies, make improvements one after another, and in the end all he has is a project with a big budget. The producer does not believe in setting budgets. He considers his final cost to be the budget. This is the reason that he has made several amazing films like Waqt Hamara Hai, Jeet, Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Heyy Babyy, Housefull, Housefull 2, without letting the expenses make him feel the pinch. He also believes in increasing the business of the film, rather than cutting down on the expenses. Currently, the film maker is working on six films namely Highway, 2 States, Heropanti, Kick, Phantom, and Window Seat.Sajid Nadiadwala

Sajid Nadiadwala also is turning director this year with his upcoming Salman Khan starrer Kick. The newly turned director loves to shoot his movies in foreign countries, which is again a reason for the increasing costs. Nevertheless, as said before, expenses do not pose a problem to this man. He is such a perfectionist that he likes to work on every minute detail, thereby increasing the cost of a project even more. Confirming this, the producer cum director said, “God is kind that I have saved something, otherwise my finance is bad. I have never planned a budget, the cost is my budget. My team always asks me to stay out of costs, as every time I get involved, I increase costs. All my staff has been with me from the beginning. The same is true of my actors, be it Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar or Sanjay Dutt. Not only have I repeated them in my movies, but they too have repeated me.”
