Though the two Khans of Bollywood, Salman and Shah Rukh have shared the comfortable hug at an iftaar party in August 2013, some level of discomfort still seems to prevail between them. Specially, Shah Rukh Khan is not taking the hug too seriously. He still continues to avoid talking about Salman Khan, which can be easily made out from his recent gesture made at a press conference held during the Zee Cine Awards 2014 on 9th January. Being asked about whether the actor would be performing with Salman at the awards show, he chose to dodge the question saying, “Ye kitna puraana question hogaya hai! Kuch naya pooch lo…” (This question has become very old now. Ask me something new).” However, the two actors might have to come together for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, whether comfortable with each other or not. Some time back, Shah Rukh had also made several attempts to not bump into Salman, while at the Mehboob studios.
Although Shah Rukh Khan has been avoiding meeting or talking about Salman Khan, the Kick actor does not mind talking about him. On Koffee With Karan he had comfortably said, “While SRK is not on my best friend’s list any longer, it doesn’t mean that I won’t care for him. I cherish every moment and good times spent with the Shah Rukh Khan and wouldn’t appreciate if anyone said anything bad about them in front of me. SRK has been my “once dear friend” and I still respect him for what he is today and do not hold a grudge. No one can beat King Khan when it comes to enacting romantic scenes.” So, let us just hope that the two Khans will put aside their issues and work together on Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut Kick. Shah Rukh is not a part of the cast of this film like Salman. His company Red Chillies VFX has been signed in to work on the visual effects of Kick!
