The film maker is like a mother to his or her film and a mother is always worried for her child. Similarly, the film maker nurtures his story, develops it into a full-fledged film, and continues to look after it. He has a lot of internal fears like whether he has done its upbringing correctly or no and if it will be able to win hearts of the audience. It is more of making the right choices when you are coming up with a movie. This time it was Imtiaz Ali, a director, who has been termed as the young Yash Chopra of Bollywood, who had experienced all kind of fears for his upcoming film Highway. This road film is written, directed, as well produced by Imtiaz. Famous film producer Sajid Nadiadwala is presenting it worldwide in association with the satellite partners UTV Motion Pictures. Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman has lent his impressive music to the film.
Actors Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt are playing the lead roles in Highway, where they have been portrayed as two very different characters. It is not a usual Bollywood romantic flick, but carries much soul to it. While Alia plays a city slick in Highway, Randeep has been featured as her abductor. It is about their journey together through six states of North India. Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, Highway releases on 21st February this year. Bringing onboard a fresh pair like Randeep and Alia for the first time, Imtiaz had his own fears, whether viewers would like them or no. Talking about this in detail he said, “Casting Randeep and Alia together in ‘Highway’ was definitely a risk, but the chemistry has come out as beautifully as I had imagined. Both are immensely talented actors and I believe moviegoers would love to see the pair together.”
Thus, Imtiaz Ali calls casting Randeep and Alia together in the Sajid Nadiadwala presentation Highway a risky affair
