“Alia Bhatt grew up while shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Highway’!” – Imtiaz Ali

It is said that girls get matured faster than boys. There is no right age for a girl to be fully matured and act like an adult. She just starts understanding things easily while she comes across certain situations and learns from her experiences. One such 20 year old is the very glamorous star kid, who debuted last year in Bollywood with the film Student Of The Year. She is none other than the sultry and beautiful Alia Bhatt. After receiving accolades for her prominent role in SOTY just at an age of 20, the young actress has already bagged two films for herself, where she plays the lead. One is the Imtiaz Ali directed, written, and produced Highway and other is the Sajid Nadiadwala -Karan Johar co-produced 2 States. As per director Imtiaz Ali, the newbie actress has changed to a great extent after doing the film. Talking about this he said, “Alia had to show toughness off the screen as well because there was no AC, no heater, no water and sometimes no food. All you could get was maggi. In a way, her experiences were similar to what her character Veera would go through. I think the film changed her, she kind of grew up. Her father (Mahesh Bhatt) told her that this film would change her. She has so much love and trust in her heart that only good things will happen for her.” Therefore, Imtiaz strongly believes that Alia grew up while shooting for this Sajid Nadiadwala presentation Highway. She is a much matured person now as she has experienced really difficult conditions while shooting Highway in six states of North India.
